3 Delivery Information – what you need to know

We know how important it is for you to receive your shiny new handset as quickly as possible, and in the same great condition you expect. This is why we’ve put together this handy page to outline all the 3 delivery information you need – all the options and promises, with exactly what you need to know when ordering from Three. Will Corona Virus affect my order?

The short answer is No, at the moment Corona Virus shouldn’t stop you receiving your new phone or SIM plan. Three is working hard to make sure you can still receive its great offers. Click to learn more about how Corona Virus could affect your order and the steps Three are taking.

Confirmation of your order

Three will always send you confirmation that they have received your order. This confirmation will be sent by email and acknowledges the order and estimated delivery date. If you haven’t received confirmation of your order, or you think you typed your email address incorrectly, please call 0844 338 0330 to get confirmation of your order.

The standard 3 returns policy applies. You can return your new device if you’re not happy with it, as long as it’s unused.

  • If your order is being delivered to your home, 3 will text you on the day of delivery to confirm when you can expect your order to arrive. We’ll also text you if there are any unexpected delays to your delivery.
  • If you order is being delivered to a Three store, your will receive a text  when it’s ready for you at the store, and you will have up to 8 days after delivery to go in and pick it up at a time that suits you. As an added bonus, if you need any information, help or guidance getting to grips with your new handset, a member of the 3 team will be there to show you the ropes.

Please note: Unfortunately once you’ve placed your order, we can’t change the delivery location.

So they have implemented the opportunity for you to choose to have your new handset delivered to one of over 330 participating Three Stores across the UK. It’s still absolutely free, and if your order is placed before 4pm, it will be ready for collection the next working day. This is a great way to take advantage of exclusive online deals and make sure your  shiny new handset reaches you as quickly as possible.

Date of delivery

Dongles and SIMs

  • These are delivered within one to two working days and do not need to be signed for.
  • Phones, MiFi devices & tablets
    Orders placed before 4pm will be delivered by courier the next working day. Orders placed after 4pm will be delivered in two working days (or on the following Tuesday if you order after 4pm on a Friday). You’ll need to sign for the delivery.

Please note: Courier deliveries take place between 9am and 6pm. Deliveries are not made on weekends or bank holidays. If there’s no-one at the delivery address, the courier will post a card with contact details through the door. They’ll usually attempt delivery again the next working day.

Order tracking and additional delivery info

You can track the status of your order from Three by calling 0844 338 0330 – simply select option 2. One of Three’s customer service representatives will be able to check its status for you.

If you ordered over the phone, we’ll send you the link to Follow Your Parcel in an email.

Any personal delivery address for your mobile phone from Three must be the same as the address attached to your credit or debit card and must not be a work address. This is to help protect you from fraud.

All deliveries are subject to availability and can be affected by adverse weather conditions and if this happens, Three will always try and contact you. Online orders for collection at outlying stores like the Inverness 3Store are not next day, but will take two working days.

Delivery costs

There are no charges for any items purchased through Three. 3 will always equip you with delivery information, including additional charges before you complete and finalise your order.

Three Christmas deliveries

Three aim to deliver your new phone to your home or to your nearest Three store by 4pm the following working day but Christmas can be busy.  So that your new mobile reaches you in good time be sure to get your Christmas orders to Three as soon as you can. We will keep this page updated with news of Three’s Christmas delivery times as we get it..
