Speeds given are in megabits per second. As a guide, the average speed of the Standard Dongle lets you download a 3-4 minute music track in 30 seconds or less, and is enough to stream from Youtube with little to no buffering.
3 are currently in the process of rolling out Ultrafast technology across their network, so speeds may vary based on location. Due to the technical limitations of the HSPA+ and DC-HSPA+ technologies, the maximum speeds given are theoretical maximums based on ideal conditions; average speeds are likely to be lower, at around 6MB/second on HSPA+ and 11MB/second on DC-HSPA+.
