- Fun for all the family with a dedicated kids learning zone
Taking the tablet world by storm is the 3 HTC Flyer, a 7" tablet from the expert engineers at HTC. After winning consumer awards for the quality of their phones, their tablet offering is shaping up to be just as good!
HTC have gone to great lengths to make sure their HTC Sense user interface is optimised for the comfortably-sized screen on the Flyer - whilst currently on the latest smartphone version of Android (2.3 Gingerbread) it will shortly be upgraded to Android 3.0, the tablet-dedicated version of the incredibly popular operating system. You'll find it easy to navigate through the web, access your emails or browse and select the latest apps you'll want to download straight to the homescreen. Why not turn your tablet into an e-book reader? Now you can take all your books with you, as well as your music and any TV shows you feel like watching on the move!
The sturdy aluminium casing gives excellent protection to the Flyer's 7" capacitive touchscreen, which has an impressive screen resolution and bright, clear colours. A 1.5 GHz processor with 1GB of RAM rumbles under the hood and give a lot of power without greedily draining the battery.
Unique amongst current tablet offerings, the HTC Flyer comes with a "magic pen" stylus, which can be used in almost every situation you'll find on the Flyer. Highlight text in the reader, jot down notes almost anywhere... even use it to touch up pictures! This innovative take on an old concept turns gives all the flexibility to you, allowing you to use your Flyer as a powerful platform for games, media and browsing, but also as a simple jotter - perfect for meetings, or simply when hand-written notes are just easier!
If you're after a useful device for work or play, you cannot go wrong with the Three HTC Flyer. A great substitute for your laptop, this lightweight alternative is the ultimate answer to both fun and functional web and documents on the move.
