The HTC Desire S on 3

how is the battery life like on the htc desire s ??? Has it improved compared to the original desire or is it much worser ??? People let me know please asap….

This is my first smart phone and I am blown away with the array and superb features it has. Going from a £10 Nokia with a colour screen and a torch as super features on that phone makes this HTC Desire S seems like it has come from a long way in the future! The whole look and feel of the HTC - I can only describe as outstanding, it fits nicely in the hand, has a good weight and quality build to the metallic feel of the main body of the phone. The camera and video camera might only have 5 megapixels but I could not want nor need more. The clarity and quality of the pictures is excellent and as the phone comes with an 8GB merory SD card there is so much space on its memory you can take hours of video and thousands of pictures. It is extreamly user friendly, the touch screen operates almost everything and it only took about half an hour to really find my way around the phone and feel confident using it(bearing in mind I have never had a phone like this before!) So now I do not need to buy myself a GPS for the car - the phone has it, I don't need to buy a seperate camera or video camera as the phone has it, it is so good that apart from my 1GB contract allowance on internet usage it could almost replace my laptop! It certainly has more features that are usefull in a phone as opposed to a PC or laptop. You can personalise almost everything so you can really make it your own, 7 different front screens, where you can put all your favorite apps, it even gives you up to date weather forecasts on the front screen and anywhere else you programme it too. I can't fault this phone, I could go on for ages explaining all the features but trust me this Desire S is perfect. I tried other makes of smart phone in shops before buying and was not as impressed with other brands as with this one. One thing I will say is the QWERTY touch screen keyboard with predictive text is so much better than say that of the Blackberrys, even my Dad who has a Blackberry has said it is more user friendly! If you are thinking about this phone, stop thinking and go for it, you will NOT be dissapointed. I love it, and have bought a super little leather pouch for it from HTC with the ribbon pull strip to remove the phone quickly when needing to answer a call and it comes out in a second. Invest in one of these pouches as well as I have dropped the phone in the pouch and no damage at all, its a tough leather protector that is worth its weight in gold for saving your phone, even from getting those nasty little scratches on the screen that you can't understand where they have come from have not appeared and still none of those on my phone after a couple of months of use. This phone is built to last and its as good as it looks! GET ONE!
