The HTC Desire HD on 3
- Easy to customise with Android 2.2
- Responsive touchscreen with beautiful HD clarity
- Extra memory and a super-fast processor
- Fantastic 8 megapixel camera
3's HTC Desire HD in Chocolate (also known as the Ace) is the bigger brother to the classic HTC Desire, updating and adding features to make the Desire HD top dog amongst high end smartphones.
If professionalism is an important part of your appearance, you will love the Desire HD's clean lines and aluminium finish. Its vast 4.3" touchscreen display stands out from the crowd in delivering a crisp and vibrant picture, so whether you want to browse the web, watch a movie or check out your friend's latest photos, the Desire HD completely delivers.
We liked the Sense user interface on the original HTC Desire, and its upgrade for the Desire HD doesn't disappoint either. It brings all your customisation controls together in one easy-to-access place directly on your homescreen, meaning that you can get complete control over the look and feel of your Desire HD, without having to dig through menu after menu. You can also sync your device to the HTC Sense website, allowing you unrivalled remote control over your phone. That means that you can lock, bar or call your phone from the web (great in case it gets lost or stolen, or you happen to have mislaid it and it's on silent!).
The Desire HD offers a higher quality of performance on all of its features. The camera has been updated to 8MP, with dual LED flash, autofocus and HD video recording. You can now listen to your music in enhanced quality thanks to the presence of SRS surround sound enhancement and Dolby mobile. There's also a huge amount of internal storage (4GB, upgradable to a massive 32GB), so you can really go to town with video, music, and as many apps from the Android market as you could want!
Without doubt, the Three HTC Desire HD offers an exceptional media and internet experience, and is intuitive enough for even the most smartphone-phobic to be able to operate and personalise without hesitation. With Android under the hood, you can be guaranteed a fantastic mobile phone, and the Desire HD's added touches make this the smartphone to beat.
