  • Sleek design with optical trackpad and brilliant display

  • Full QWERTY keyboard, making emailing and document editing a breeze
  • 3.2 megapixel video camera with LED flash and image stabilisation

The 3 BlackBerry 9700 Bold may be smaller than the 9000 before it, but size isn't everything - and BlackBerry's latest incarnation of this incredibly popular device is sure to impress, no matter what the audience. With a glossy black finish and chrome trim, the Bold certainly means business.

A leaner, meaner, more powerful machine - the 9700 Bold not only looks good, but it performs like a pro whilst comfortably sliding discreetly into any pocket. The full QWERTY keyboard that has made the Bold so popular has slightly raised keys for easy keystrikes, and lets you compose long emails and edit documents with style and efficiency. The new optical trackpad replaces the previously iconic trackball, making navigating around the 9700 Bold's user interface much more reliable. Plus, with a lightning-fast 624 MHz processor at its core, the Bold is unbelievably responsive - always keeping up, no matter how busy you are.

Sporting an improved 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash, image stabilisation and video capture, the Blackberry 9700 is great for taking high quality snaps in any conditions. Plus, using powerful 3G, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connectivity, it couldn't be easier to share your files and images with friends and collegues in a matter of seconds. With a 2.44", higher resolution display, the 9700 makes watching videos and browsing the web even clearer and more colourful than its predecessor.

The Three BlackBerry 9700 Bold is undoubtedly one of the best suited smartphones out there to satisfy the demands of business users needing portable performance at their fingertips. That said, the 9700 has much to offer the more casual user who's looking for an effortless typing experience in a sophisticated package.

Definitely a phone to purchase!! Especially on orange due to its UMA system that guarantees a signal in your home (+ it makes the phone faster than broadband!) It's the ideal phone for me with the push emails, facebook, twitter, word, excel, pdf and other such applications - keeps me of the laptop due to its capabilities. Definitely a phone worth investing in.

I`ve had my BlackberryBold9700 almost a month now and must admit that it`s the best phone I`ve ever owned!!. I used to always go for the most basic phones probably with a camera if I was pushed, so the Bold9700 was majorly out of my league. To be honest, I don`t know how I`ve managed without it as it plays a large part both in my worklife and social life. From social networks to personal and business e-mails, BBmessenger, BB appworld, internet for browsing and shopping, maps, I use the lot, it`s just amazing and I`ve found it so easy to use. I thought the keyboard might be a problem at first but after a day or two it was really easy, especially after previously having a toutchscreen phone.
When working abroad I would normally take my laptop with me; now I just take my Blackberry instead and find that I can do everything I want on that instead of using the laptop and when at home I tend to use my Blackberry more than I do the laptop it just seems so much easier, obviously the screen is smaller on the phone but it`s surprising how quickly you adjust. The Bold9700 is amazing quality with bright flashes of chrome around the edges to offset the black fascia and back. I have mine in a leather case just to keep it looking good. Battery life seems good too lasting 2-3 days with moderate use inc. browsing before needing a recharge.
Obviously I`m with 3network as my provider, with no problems at all. One of the good things about 3 is that if you`re a heavy internet user, you get 1GB of internet allowance (on contract) than most other networks who usually give you 500MB.My Bold9700 performs perfectly in all aspects, internet browsing is so quick, alot quicker than my broadband at home. BlackberryBold9700 best phone ever!!

Some reviews say theyre clicky and no good for people who text and email a lot! The whole point for having one in my case so have to be sure! Can anyone give me their honest opinion? Thanks
